Your journey starts here...
Personal
power in your relationships, at work, with friends partners and most
importantly with yourself is possible. Counselling contributes to self
awareness and this is the first step to positive change and personal
growth.Whether it's addictions, low self esteem, relationships or
dealing with grief I can help you to develop your awareness and set
goals in a way that will help you experience clearer direction, greater
peace and deeper joy.
The specific areas I work with are:
- Addictions.
- Self-esteem and self nurture.
- Gay Men's Issues.
- H.I.V. concerns
- Coming out
- Internalised homophobia.
- Grief and Loss
- Relationships
- Anger Management.
- Family conflict
- Body Image
- Communication and Assertiveness.
- Life Skills.
- Co-dependency.
- Goal setting.
- Crystal Meth Addiction.
- Ageing in the Gay Community.
Counselling provides the opportunity
for you to release self defeating patterns, to deal with unfinished
business from the past and to create a strong foundation for a new life
built on self awareness, self care and your own growing strength and
wisdom.
Testimonials
'I have been seeing Stu for about two years on a weekly basis and in that time I have grown emotionally and spiritually more than I thought personally possible. I have seen several therapists but none have had the impact that he has had. Stu brings an amazing sense of calm, understanding and compassion to his sessions allowing me to express myself in a safe and protected environment. He is empathic, supportive and non judgemental. He allows me the chance to be me. '

NEW UPCOMING EVENT!
'RELEASE'
Addictions &Self-esteem Workshop.
Saturday, June, 4th, 2011.
164 Cathedral Street Wooloomooloo.
This is a one day workshop facilitated by Stu at a cosy and private group space in Wooloomooloo.
Are you addicted? You could be addicted to anything….. approval
from others, co-dependency, crystal / ice, G.H.B. alcohol, hoarding stuff, body
image, an eating disorder, junk food, T.V series, internet, porn, romantic
relationships, coffee, smoking, on line sex sites, beats, sleeping, sex, gossip, money, compulsive buying,
reputation, gym, negative thinking etc…
You can move from a place of unconsciously
‘acting out against your own will’ into greater awareness and understanding of why
you are addicted and what is required for you to let go of it once and for all.
Awareness plus action = CHANGE.
This
workshop offers a space for discussion, reflection, hearing others
opinions,
all in the name of ultimately liberating yourself from addiction. This
one day workshop also looks more closely at rehab options,
holistic therapies, support groups and how counselling can help and
where to
find a therapist that is suitable for you.
